See what VisuaLeaf can do
Create queries, aggregations, and charts visually, and manage more MongoDB workflows in one workspace.
Visual Query Builder
One workspace, every database
Now supporting 13 databases — document and relational
Work with collections, tables, queries, aggregations, charts, indexes, and performance tools from one interface.
MongoDB never declares a schema, so its shape tends to live in your head. VisuaLeaf reads what is actually stored and draws it. It also works the other way: design a schema on the canvas, hit Materialize, and the collections are created for you.
Start an import, an export, or an index build and carry on working. The task list tracks each one while it runs and keeps a record of what it did, so a long job isn't something you sit and watch.
Put two documents side by side and read them against each other instead of switching tabs. Panels arrange however suits the comparison, and scrolling stays in sync so the same field stays level in both.
A query that was quick on ten thousand documents can crawl on ten million. The profiler watches them as they run, shows which ones are costing you and why, and suggests the index that would settle it.
Describe what you want and the assistant writes the query against your real schema. It drafts aggregations, turns the results into charts, generates ER diagrams, reviews how your collections are structured, and reads an explain plan back to you in plain English instead of nested JSON.

Most database tools are fine until the data is real. VisuaLeaf is built for the point where collections and tables get large, documents get heavy, and other database GUIs start to fall over.
Fifty thousand documents open in seconds and scroll without a stutter. The grid took a year of optimisation on its own, and we have optimised the data retrieval process further still, so you spend less time waiting on your data.
Documents at MongoDB's 16 MB ceiling, deeply nested objects, huge arrays, mixed types in the same field, binary blobs. We loaded 100 documents at that ceiling, 1.6 GB in one collection, and both the tree and grid views handled it comfortably with memory usage in check. That is the point most database tools fall over at. Whatever you point VisuaLeaf at, NoSQL or SQL, size stops being the question.
A visual query builder for MongoDB and a second one for SQL, both in the same app. Pick a field, an operator and a value and the query is written for you, or describe what you want and the AI assistant drafts it against your real schema. Drop into raw syntax whenever you want the control back.

Software Engineer, AVP - Citi
"VisuaLeaf is exceptionally well built, and clearly years ahead of Studio 3T and MongoDB Compass. The smart drag and drop aggregation pipeline builder is so intuitive that pipelines which used to take me hours in Compass now take minutes. At Citi we deal with complex multi stage aggregations every day, and this is the first MongoDB GUI that actually speeds up senior engineers, not just beginners."
Software Engineer - Tesla
"After years of using Studio 3T at Tesla, I never thought a MongoDB GUI could actually surprise me. VisuaLeaf opens our largest collections about 10x faster than MongoDB Compass on the same cluster, and even the cold start feels night and day compared to Studio 3T. It is finally a MongoDB workspace that feels as fast as the database itself."
Software Engineer - T-Mobile
"What sold me on VisuaLeaf is that literally every MongoDB workflow can be done visually inside the app. Indexes, schema validation, change streams, even explain plans. I have not opened the mongo shell, Compass, Studio 3T, or NoSQLBooster in months. It is the only MongoDB GUI I keep open all day at T-Mobile."
CEO - EloiseAI
"As a CEO running a lean engineering team, every hour matters. VisuaLeaf's real time query monitoring caught two slow aggregations in our production cluster the same day we installed it, things we would have completely missed in Compass. It pays for itself in debugging hours saved, and honestly, the team actually enjoys using it, which is rare for any MongoDB tool."
Solutions Engineer - Capital Group
"At Capital Group I had been using NoSQLBooster for years, and switching to VisuaLeaf honestly felt like upgrading from a hatchback to a Tesla. The built in charts and export tools alone made it easy to share MongoDB insights with non technical stakeholders without ever leaving the app. It is a much more polished alternative to NoSQLBooster, and well past anything Studio 3T offers."
Software Engineer - American Airlines
"I came into MongoDB from a SQL background, and VisuaLeaf is honestly the reason it finally clicked for me. The interface is clean and modern in a way that Compass and Studio 3T are simply not, and the visual query builder taught me MongoDB faster than any tutorial I tried. Months later I am still finding little features that quietly save me time at American Airlines."

Built for performance from loading to interactions — you never get a laggy experience. Load gigabytes of data in seconds and keep working while others wait for the UI to catch up.
A fraction of what Studio 3T charges. The Community Edition is free forever, and Pro licenses start at $79 for one year of updates. You keep the app forever.
Everything Studio 3T does, and more. Visual query builder, aggregation pipeline builder, schema designer, GridFS viewer, task manager, chart builder, plus features you won't find anywhere else.
Reach out with any question or issue and hear back from a real human within 24 hours, usually much sooner. No ticket queues, no chatbots, no runaround.
New features, refinements, and fixes ship every single week. Follow along with the public release notes to see what just landed and what's coming next.
Your data never leaves your machine. VisuaLeaf runs entirely on your computer with zero telemetry of your database contents. Full privacy, full peace of mind.
Connect to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, and SQLite from the same app. When the project in front of you is relational instead of document, you don't need a second tool or a second license.
